Frisky, flirty, fun, FERGIE is fabulous! Meet her at Baldwin Park where she's ready to be your forever friend. . Fergie is a flirtatious 1-year-old grey-tabby-and-white female Domestic Shorthair mix kitten who was found as a stray in La Puente and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on April 7th along with her brother Devon [ #A5268233 ] and friend Axel [ #A5268232 ]. Weighing 7 lbs, Fergie enjoys human attention, whether you want to play with her or pet her. . She has a delightful feline curiosity, is eager to explore and entertain you with her antics. She is accustomed to being with other cats and can be adopted either alone or with Devon and/or Axel. Tween kitty Fergie will be an outstanding companion as an indoor cat in any loving household looking for an affectionate young cat. . Fergie’s ID is #A5268234 . Join our MeetUp Group!

A great way to start volunteering is to join our MeetUp Group. We go to the Baldwin Park Shelter to photograph and videotape dogs every other Saturday, from 8:30 a.m to 1 p.m.

Make sure you contact the organizer before showing up, as our volunteers can get real busy when we have lots of dogs standing in line for their photos!

Volunteers Needed

We are currently looking for volunteers to write and edit stories for our website. Apply Now!

We also need people to advocate for particular dogs at the shelter, keeping track of their status and making sure the dog's information is correct.

In addition, we could use more people willing to foster and become adoption coordinators. We have a new "Meet & Greet" area at the Baldwin Park Shelter that makes it easy for people to meet and get to know dogs they may want to adopt in a more relaxed setting. Apply Now!
